  Broken breaths, broken leaves Torn tears, torn trees Some-one-thing  dies; some-one-thing  lives

Thawing from the inside, out Hearts welcoming warmth Reassuring empathy 

Frost covering leaves A bud still breathes Stubbornness 

  Daring to bare More than you cared to share  Challenging yourself

  Rinsing blue ink Washing away those words Unspeaking sounds 

  Dead things are fragile The dying even more so Continuation 

  A crumpled tissue  Catching those ‘achoo’ sounds Winter waves ‘hello’
