dreams guarded by closed eyes  his escapades shielded from you and I                                         

Days turn into weeks  Weeks into months While the months disappear Off the edge of a calendar Into the past

The clouds that choke me Need your breath To ease their conscious                                       

Will you really understand  comprehend, know;  where and when and why my words breathe? *If I never tell you*                                                                                                                               

summers disappearing smile time to warm cold cheeks autumn’s blossoming kisses 

Once hidden by the Sea Until the Sea ebbs away Treasures are revealed

Skies reflecting promised dreams Ending and beginning  Where life lives

Competing against time Guarantees   A last place

The face and pace of peace Amidst all the grime Withstanding the test of time

exploring pathways opened mind possibilities

Whispering leaves of trees A chorus of chimes Nature’s songs sung

Anniversary anguish An unfulfilled dream Guilt’s emptiness

Half eaten ideas Of brokenness All that I am * all that you are *

Weighing heavily Time within time’s density A day fore filled

  R etiring Sun Amongst a quilt of clouds Tomorrow’s dreams * vapour-trailed *

Shallow breaths Breathing deeply Love enamoured

Painted skies Depicted on water Reflector

Love recognises love Rivalry void  Mirroring each other

Unnatural beauty Standing along side nature No comparison  * or is there? *

Life’s living  travels with Light and shadows Endless journey

Never the same (way) again Different view points Time irreplaceable      

Tying knots in handkerchiefs So I won’t forget * you * The memorising moments

Fallen solider Battles conquered  Hard won war

there is an art in learning how to accept things         *and yet I am still at school *

walls closing in narrowing minds stifling thoughts

only t hose that fear death are afraid of living (their lives fully)          ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In between  living and dying there is waiting 

  Between stagnation And growth Is Dreaming

  Everything I see Has been seen Before Me

  melancholy finds me easily  it  knows all the places I hide  and  disguises I wear

the longer you are pursued  the more you will use  the exit to your existence
